HOW IT STARTED
Ted Passalacqua began Strategic in the late 90's. Back in the early 80s, he had his first interaction with the original IBM PCjr writing applications in Basic. Ted quickly developed a passion for PCs that led him to start a custom PC company in the Spring of 1998 while still attending college. With encouragement and help from his father, he formed The Computer Warehouse.
While building custom PCs was lucrative enough at the time, Ted realized businesses were lacking the necessary resources and assistance to ensure they were properly networked. Clients also struggled with maximizing the capabilities of the machines. He realized the demand for talented technical support who could speak "non-techy" with clients about their technology needs far exceeded demand for PCs and he felt his unqiue combination of knowledge, skill, and personality could be valuable to businesses.
16 YEARS LATER
Today, Strategic Micro Systems has developed into an International IT Support firm. With clients around the globe, Strategic has been featured for 3 years in a row in Inc Magazine's list of fastest growing companies. In addition, Strategic has been a Microsoft Partner for over 15 years and maintains a staff of over 25 employees, all who share Ted's passion to provide the finest IT support, bar none.

In today's world, customer service is truly becoming rare. Take the example of trying to call your local bank. Chances are you'll be routed to an 800 number that will take you to a dizzying call tree, only to find that you can't speak to your local branch unless a representative connects you.
