IT Sales Associate & Account Manager

STRATEGIC® Micro Systems is seeking an IT Sales Associate & Account Manager to join our rapidly growing organization. This opportunity calls for an individual with prior IT sales experience or a demonstrated past working in the IT industry at any level. New college graduates with a Bachelors degree and some sales experience OR IT experience are encouraged to apply. This position requires an individual who is outgoing, personable, and motivated to succeed. With this position, you will own the results of your work. As you develop your client list, you will earn recurring commission as these clients continue to do business with us.
  (CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL - THIS IS NOT A TELECOMMUTING POSITION)  

Job Purpose:
To build business by identifying and selling to numerous prospects throughout the Northern NJ and Greater NYC area, all while providing & maintaining exceptional relationships with these clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry

  • Researching and analyzing sales options.

  • Selling IT products, solutions, service contracts, and managed services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects

  • Recommending IT solutions that provide maximum benefit to clients

  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance;

  • Researching and recommending new opportunities;

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • IT Experience and/or Previous Sales Experience

  • Presentation Skills / Proven Reliability and Dependability

  • Ability to Form Exceptional Client Relationships Emphasizing Excellence

  • Creativity / Sales Planning / Independence / Motivation for Sales

On-Site Network Technician

STRATEGIC® Micro Systems is seeking only the finest, most professional, and technically passionate individuals to join our rapidly growing IT firm.  Candidates should possess demonstrated hands on knowledge working with PCs, Servers, Routers, Switches, Printers, and Microsoft Based Networks.  Candidates should also possess the ability to problem solve in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include:

- On Site & Remote Network Support to SMS Clients within the NY/NJ Tri-State Area
- Installing, integrating and supporting desktop and server technologies
- Interfacing with clients and communicating with management
- Ability to work well in a team or individually as needed
- Strong technical and problem solving skills / Excellent Organizational Skills
- Clean Driving Record Required.  Non-Smoker Preferred
- Working Knowledge of Basic PC & Networking Technologies including General PC Support & Troubleshooting
- Hardware Knowledge of PC and Servers including RAM, Hard Drives, CPUs, and more.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Based Server Operating System (2000/2003)   
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / Group Policy
- Hands-on experience with Routers / Switches / Firewalls (SonicWALL and Juniper Preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange preferred.

Full time position, 8:30am - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.  24x7 Availability Required once every 5 weeks.
Prior IT Experience Required
BACHELORS DEGREE OR OTHER IT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.

Marketing & Public Relations Specialist (NJ Office)
